Project Overview

This project is approximately 13182 SF to include MEP services as necessary to facilitate a new Showroom building. Electric, water and sewer will be coordinated with civil scope, and the site will include exterior lighting and possible EV car charging stations. Union county, New Jersey

Design Approach

DEC is responsible for the complete MEP system design, utilizing AutoCAD to achieve efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort. The scope of work includes providing a 600A, 120/208V, 3-phase, 4-wire electrical service with an electrical meter and disconnect switch connected through a 600A wire trough. From this, three (3) 200A (MCB), 120/208V, 3-phase electrical panels labelled ‘PA,’ ‘PB,’ and ‘PC’ will be installed to serve the proposed tenant space. The design covers all required equipment, wiring, and lighting for the project area, including power for ventilation equipment. Coordination with the General Contractor is required for low-voltage wiring. Plumbing systems will also be provided, including domestic hot water and heating.
