DEC is responsible for the complete MEP system design, using AutoCAD to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort. The scope includes HVAC load calculations, system and equipment selection, and schematic design with detailed equipment layouts. Construction documents will cover all heating and cooling equipment selections, ductwork and piping layouts with sizes, and the design of new HVAC systems as required. Electrical design will include base building systems, electric closets on each floor, and panel board rooms sized to serve the designated spaces. New lighting and power circuiting will be provided and modified to suit the architectural layout. Plumbing design will address sanitary waste and vent systems, domestic water supply, and natural gas distribution. Construction documents will also include plumbing riser diagrams, detailed plans, service equipment specifications, and complete distribution of domestic cold and hot water, gas systems, sanitary piping, and related plumbing equipment.
